About the project (provided by the applicant)
This metro line was first opened in 1969, and in 1995 through 2019 they used it as an independent line of only 3.3 km long. It comprised three stations – Kakhovskaya, Varshavskaya, and Kashirskaya.
During reconstruction, the key features of the station, including its shapes, colored columns, and decorative panels were preserved.
Newly installed smoke exhaust shafts of contrasting colors are the new composition highlights. The floors were finished with granite, and the tunnel walls – with white marble. The metro entrance halls include all kinds of metal and stone elements.
