About the project (provided by the applicant)
This design is for a Green Energy Sustainability Center, aimed at promoting a waste-to-fuel policy to address waste management and air pollution from incineration. Unlike traditional incineration plants, this center purifies recyclable combustible materials to produce Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF), eliminating the air pollution and bottom ash disposal issues associated with burning waste. Recyclable waste is sorted and processed to manufacture SRF, which can directly replace coal. The converted electrical and thermal energy can be used by the Green Energy Sustainability Center itself. The design of the center emphasizes the integration of nature and environment, characterized by abstract geometric shapes and minimalist style, highlighting material purity and breaking traditional design frameworks through the play of light and shadow. It offers local residents free recreational, entertainment, reading, and walking spaces.
