Project
Passariúva House
Category
Best Project of Private Residence
About the project (provided by the applicant)
Set below street level, the house is designed to preserve the surrounding views and landscape, respecting the region's authenticity and natural beauty. It is divided into two blocks: a social block facing the mountains and an intimate block facing the native Atlantic Forest. The semi-circular shape of the house follows the natural terrain, ensuring smooth integration and optimizing thermal efficiency.
The glulam pillars and beams create a visual rhythm that connects the house with its environment, while charred wood and natural stone flooring enhance durability and offer a welcoming feel. A heated infinity pool on the front porch mirrors the landscape, and glass-paneled corridors link the interior to panoramic views, maximizing natural light and offering protection against the elements. Slightly elevated from the ground, the house extends toward the horizon, capturing the essence of the place and harmoniously engaging with the grandeur of nature.
