The project site in the city of Sardasht,in the shadow of the martyrs' memorial:We distanced ourselves from the conventional methods of mosque construction in the desert cities of Iran and focused on designing a mosque that resonates with the spirit and nature of Sardasht's cold,Therefore,it can be said that one of the most prominent characteristics of this mosque is its design, which, through the method of camouflage, has gently nestled in the embrace of its natural surroundings, achieving complete harmony.
The Bolfat Mosque, nestled in the heart of the Sardasht mountains, is shaped based on a circular geometry. This mosque gravitates towards the center, and its other programs are defined around this axis.
The prayer hall and mihrab are also situated in harmony with the dome chamber, at the heart of the space. The qibla direction is reinforced by a fissure in the dome shell,creating a connection with the light and the mihrab of the mosque.
