About the project (provided by the applicant)
Despite its central location, the area had long been reserved for industrial use, featuring a nearby railway yard, administrative and utility buildings, and private garages. In 2020, Brusnika embarked on a large-scale redevelopment project to seamlessly integrate the site into the urban fabric. The architects divided the space into four distinct residential sections – two blocks and two towers – arranged around a linear park. On one side, the park leads to a pedestrian bridge and an area with disused railway tracks, which are set to be transformed into a landscaped recreational zone. On the opposite side, the park connects to a city square and a green space near the railway administration building. The building is styled to resemble a Soviet neoclassical house, which influenced the overall design. The facades of the buildings adopt a modern classic style, blending traditional elements that, while maintaining an understated elegance, respect the historical context of the urban landscape.
