Project
Alpine Chalet Cortina

Best Project of Public Building or Facility

About the project (provided by the applicant)
This high-altitude Alpine Architecture project was born in Cortina, the Queen of the Alps, and venue for the next Olympic Winter Games in 2026.
The location of this new Chalet is directly on the Tofane ski slope, in a unique panorama, and includes a gourmet restaurant combined with an exhibition space dedicated to high fashion design and contemporary art events.
On the two basement floors is a multifunctional space dedicated to social and cultural events, with a suspended crystal meeting room, a spiral free-floating staircase, large exhibition areas and an innovative indoor snow room with artificial snow and zenithal light.
blueArch Architects has, as usual, designed a building on the fine line between Alpine Tradition and Contemporary Languages, with a daring and innovative stylistic mix.
The project is currently under construction and will be opened in December 2025.
