Best Implemented Capital Construction Project in St. Petersburg
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The James Beck Manufactory on Petrogradskaya Embankment is an elegant premium residential complex situated in a historically rich and well-connected area, in close proximity to the Neva River and within walking distance of the Botanical Garden. The complex is named after the English merchant of the first guild James Beck, the founder of a cotton spinning manufactory located nearby. The factory, designed by renowned architects Miller and Benois, remains a striking example of industrial architecture on Petrograd Side. Honoring this heritage, the modern design of the James Beck Manufactory features brick facades that seamlessly blend with the historical surroundings. With a varied height (6 to 9 storeys), and a play of textures and colors on the facades, the complex exudes a sense of lightness and dynamism. The upper floors offer sweeping views of the city center, its residential areas, and the Bolshaya Nevka.
