About the project (provided by the applicant)

The bronze sculpture in the manor once owned by the spise of Alexander Pushkin was installed on the writer’s 225th birthday.

It had been waiting in the wings for 33 years, but finally the time has come thanks to the efforts undertaken by the sons of Oleg Komov, the sculptor, Russian patrons of arts, and with support of the Kaluga District. The opening ceremony was attended by many locals, state officials, and honorable guests.
