About the project (provided by the applicant)
The customer wanted to open an interactive bar for young people, and the designers had not only to develop a project but also find a good place for it. The first location they thought of was the water pumping station in Tyumen. For a long time, this building was abandoned, and the customer was inspired with the idea of reviving it. It was decided to keep the old masonry but renovate the ceilings and the floors. Vivid highlights, spectacular furniture, designer lighting – all of these look great against the red bricks. The fireplace is still working, and it was decorated with glazed tiles. Out-of-action air ducts were fenced off with blue glass and lit to resemble water pipes – this is a reference to the original function of the building.
