Emotional Watering interactive installation in Benua Garden

About the project (provided by the applicant)

This is a public art installation in Benua art garden with a cascade of vivid flowers within spinning buds with water hydrants above them.

In 1890, Yuli Benois, an architectural scientist, started to develop the outskirts of St. Petersburg. He designed and built a farm, which became a perfect example of art fused with agriculture.

Artist Marina Zvyagintseva created an installation to meditate about the past through the prism of man’s careful conquering of nature. She presents the concept of a flower garden where flowers bloom regardless of the weather if watered with human emotions.  Marina used a unique biotopia method of her own design in the project, which is painting on moving water.
