Project
Battle of Kursk Memorial

Category
Best Implemented Architectural Lighting Project in Russia

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The pinnacle of the memorial is a stela featuring a Russian soldier that is keeping two approaching walls of German military machines from closing the line. High-power spotlights were installed to light it.
Red and white LED lamps with DMX control are installed within the walls, and through perforated openings their light gets out. RGBW lamps mounted along the path that leads to the stela create an illusion of bullets in the air. In the recreation area, trees are lit with warm white lamps, which creates an atmosphere of privacy.
