Golden Trezzini Awards Concludes Heritage Symposium Season

News of the Awards

The symposium «Reviving the Library of Duke of Leuchtenberg: Current Restoration and Interior Design Challenges for State and Private Clients» marked the conclusion of this year's cultural heritage events organized by the Worldwide St. Petersburg Club and the Golden Trezzini Awards Organizing Committee. Co-organized by the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, the symposium coincided with the completion of the restoration of Duke Maximilian of Leuchtenberg's historic library interior.

The final event of the season took place on October 10 in the Small Conference Hall of Mariinsky Palace—the former Duke of Leuchtenberg's library — focusing on contemporary challenges in restoring and designing interiors within historic buildings.

The program began with a guided tour of Mariinsky Palace, where attendees explored the rich history and spectacular interiors of what was once the residence of Grand Duchess Maria Nikolaevna.
