About the project (provided by the applicant)
Designed for a library renovation competition, this proposal intends to attract new readers to the library and to impress the existing ones. The NEW PARAGRAPH concept became the leitmotiv of the design — it can be found everywhere from navigation signs to the facades. Besides the interior design solutions, the project includes beautification of the premises and visual identity of the place.
Athough the bearing structures were left untouched, the indoor areas were rearranged, and Level 2 was added to make the rooms look more vast and open. RAL 3032 color — the pearl ruby red — was used as the basic color for this design, as in Russian the new paragraph is called ‘a red line.’
