Project:
Showroom of Stieglits Academy students in the lobby of the Arts and Crafts Museum
Category:
Best Implemented Interior Design Project for Public Space
About the project (provided by the applicant):
The showroom in the lobby of the Arts and Crafts Museum of the Stieglits Academy is designed to present and sell the best works created by the students. On the one hand, it is to inspire the students by demonstrating them that there works can be commercially attractive, and on the other hand — to showcase that life in the Academy doesn’t stand still. The showroom is a rack-based structure, transparent and thus not encumbering the space of the lobby. The racks are as laconic and functional as possible to offer a contrast with the magnificent premises of the lobby. Up-to-date neon inscriptions against the black frames of the gallery resound the old forged railings.
