Moved to St Petersburg in 1992. Founded S. Zinovieff & Co. (valuers, estate agents, architects, property managers), retired 2014, now working part-time as real estate consultant.

A founding member of the St Petersburg International Business Association (SPIBA) and the St Petersburg Foreign Business Club (FBC).

Former member of the advisory boards of the St Petersburg Central Park of Sport & Culture, and the Suvorov Military School.

My father changed his surname from Zinovieff to FitzLyon in 1939. He emigrated as a boy from Petrograd in 1918 with his family. My Russian ancestors were military people, landowners, industrialists, politicians/public servants.
