Best Implemented Interior Design Project for Public Space
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The interior design of Baya is based on the interplay of materiality, light, and nature. Wood, as a warm and tactile element, extends across the ceilings and walls, creating a balanced contrast with the pure white surfaces. This composition prioritizes the essence of materials and spatial quality over ornamentation.
Transparent enclosures establish a dynamic connection between interior and exterior, transforming natural light into an evolving architectural element. As light and shadow move across surfaces, the architecture becomes a recorder of time.
What sets Baya apart is the seamless integration of nature within the built space. Greenery is not merely an addition but an intrinsic part of the design. The landscape is drawn inward, flowing along circulation paths and into the heart of the interior. This coexistence dissolves the boundary between architecture and nature, crafting an environment that is not only constructed but truly lived in.
