About the project
This house reflects the spirit of the site. It comprises two blocks – a master house and a guest house. Its location in a pine forest supports the symbolic image of the project. The outside perimeter fences the house off from the world around with walls and small windows, although the inner envelope opens to the pines of the yard with stained glass windows. Crooked geometry of the yard helps to establish more privacy pits, terraces, a sheltered summer kitchen, and a terrace over the sitting room.
