Project
Minimalistic Garden

Nomination
Best Implemented Landscaping Project

About the project
The designers used a laconic set of finishing materials and a somber color palette to highlight the warm golden brown shade of the house facades and to play upon the graphite and chocolate interiors.

Rather extended pathways and sites were finished with functional brown clinker brick. For stairs and the retaining wall, elevating the house over the garden level as some stereobate, dark graphite brick was used.

The beautification concept featured soothing combinations of coniferous and deciduous plants, as well as diverse shades of green. At spring, the garden is full of dainty blue moss phlox clouds, succeeded by violet mist of Nepeta faassenii in summer, and creamy pink and lime hydrangea in fall.

Location
Leningrad Region, Lembolovo.
