About the Project
The main idea of the project was to locate all the company’s departments within one building and ensure synergy by using various building materials. The project had a fixed budget and timescale. Knauf's office occupies several administrative buildings on the premises of the company’s own plant in the city of Krasnogorsk. In 2017, a decision was made to build a single KNAUF House office within walking distance from the plant.
The three-storeyed office building has an underground parking. The ground floor houses a large lobby. Its central part is shaped as a white bracket against the black background. The lobby also comprises three meeting rooms and a selfie point with the main exhibition space. The selfie point – an egg-shaped capsule – is made of Knauf plasterboard to showcase how it can be used for curved surfaces.
