Project
Power Works: Science and Technical Forum in the context of Samara State Power Station Renovation

Nomination
Best Student’s Architectural Project

About the project
The point was to renovate the historical complex of the Samara State Power Station and to transform it into a  science and technical forum, featuring the most advanced achievements of the city’s research and production complex.

Thus, the facility will become a driver of development for the entire public zone, extended with a public embankment and included into the general Samara’s embankment. The appearance of the power station, typical for buildings of the late 19th– early 20thcentury and constructivist architecture of 1930s will be retained, as well as the initial layout

Basic finishing materials are concrete and metal. Ascetic solutions for the surfaces, walls, and the ceiling help to focus on the exhibits.
