Project
Low Rise Section Residential House, Comfort Class

Nomination
Best Student’s Architectural Project

Abouttheproject

This is a project of block section development for one of St. Petersburg suburbs. The surrounding public premises comprise a sports ground and a playground, some recreation sites and a garbage container yard. There are sufficient parking lots away from the pedestrian public premises.

The house features dynamic modularity thanks to a shift in the planning solution. The central part of the building overhangs the basic modules of the basement and the mezzanine floors. This solution is supported with the choice of both the colors and materials. Transparent glass stairs and elevator assemblies, used to pass from one section to another, can be used as a public space by residents of every floor, and make the building more airy.
