About the project
The small open gallery is located in the historic town of Los Cerrillos, New Mexico. The site is located southwest two entrances intersection. One entrance is a town road, and another is railroad. There is a saloon, a bar, a rail station, and visitor center of state park across the 1st street and main street of the site. The site is the heart of the town. The site is a Gallery for showing Larry Bell’s works. Larry Bell is a local sculptor. He is living in Taos. He uses coated color glass to build his works. His works are transparency, refraction, reflection, and illusions. Four of Larry Bell's works showed in the gallery. Considering that his works are waterproof, colored, the existing adobe wall, and the Corona-Virus, an open gallery is designed in the small town.

Applicant and author of the project
Hong Yan is a Graduate student of Architecture and Planning at University of New Mexico. She was one of the first advocate of donating masks to medical workers in the New Mexico. She is a volunteer in Children's Sketch program, and she also services Girard fellowship as designer. She is a new designer at Twilight Home. The works are directed by professor Gabriel Fries-Brigg at UNM's studio.
