Project
Interior for a bookstore in Rudomino Library
Nomination
Best Project of Public Space by a Student
About the project
The bookstore of 200 m2 is located on the ground floor of Rudomino Foreign Literature Library.
The project provides for a multifunctional space, which is divided into zones: a bookstore, a lecture hall, a printing zone and a waiting area.
The designer was inspired by Ancient Greece and aimed to immerse visitors into the atmosphere of strict and laconic classics created by means of proportional austere furniture, light finishing materials, and glass lamps.
The interior is all white to make sure it doesn’t distract visitors from books.
