Golden Trezzini Awards: two weeks left to apply!

Applications for the Third Golden Trezzini Awards are being accepted till October 15, inclusive.

On October 15, 23:59 (GMT+3), submission session of the Third International Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design will be closed. Two weeks are left at the moment to apply in one (or several – it is possible for the same applicant!) nominations of the Golden Trezzini.

Participation is free of charge. Nominees from all over the world are invited: developers and planners, architects and renovators, designers and interior decorators, as well as students of architecture schools and departments. The projects may be located anywhere in the world as well.

After the submission deadline, the Qualification Committee is going to define the finalists, who will be announced on November 5. From November 6 through 20, projects submitted by the finalists will be evaluated by the international Jury. The Jury will vote online, and will be audited by the Borenius legal company. The winners are to be announced on December 1.

330+ projects from Argentina, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Lebanon, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Spain, Syria, Turkey, Ukraine, the UAE, the United Kingdom, and the USA are approved for participation at the moment.

The International Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design are named after Domenico Trezzini (1670—1734), the first architect of St. Petersburg and the founder of Petrine Baroque. The Awards have been held since 2018. The motto of the Awards is “Architecture as Art.” The Awards are intended to acknowledge and promote architectural and designer projects that amount to works of art.

The Honorary Chairman of the International Council of the Awards is Mikhail Piotrovsky, General Director of the State Hermitage, St. Petersburg.
