Project
Boundless house
Nomination
Best Project of Private Residence
About the project
The house of 325 m2 is shaped as a curved rectangular block, comprising reinforced concrete, a metal frame, glass, and natural stone. The totally glazed frame stands on a concrete basement, concealed within the hill. The hill is a part of the natural landscape here, and after the basement is constructed, it is to be recovered. Glass walls are separated from structural metal poles to enhance consistency of the Keller minimal windows highline TYP2 system.
The house has as little partitions as possible and thus, its interiors are visible from the outside, both contrasting the nature and becoming one with it.
