Project
Healing Spaces — Architecture as Regeneration of Senses
Nomination
Best Architectural Project by a Student
About the project
The project focuses on the human impact of architecture and how humans can mentally be healed through space. Healing Spaces is a series of voids connected where the experience from inside-out, light-darkness; in nature, ground, sky, to smells, sounds, water and temperatures create narrations that work as prophylaxis to our well-being.
Key role plays the creation of narrative, different for everyone as of the sequence of spaces that are experienced. Elements promote mental curiosity and stimulate the desire to experience the spaces and reinforce the presence of sensory senses in human existence.
