About the project
The author’s objective was to restore the isles that used to be here and to connect them with the history of St. Petersburg’s park arrangement, calling them after popular parks in St. Petersburg and its outskirts – Peterhof, Pushkin, Pavlovsk, Gatchina, and Lomonosov. Various outdoor amenities and pavilions will be located in the park along with 6 isles of the Park of the Future. Some of them are hills with sight-seeing platforms, one of the isles will top the multifunctional center with a swimming pool and bathhouses, a food court, and a restaurant. Some of the isles will have diverse functions andcreating amphitheaters. The central suspension path will refer to St. Petersburg’s wooden bridges and run above stores, swings, sitting spots, and walking ways.
