New Finò Headquarters
Category
Best Implemented Project of Public Building or Facility
About the project
The new Finò Headquarters, a Caligari & Babbi company specialized in the processing and distribution of fennel, is located in Savignano sul Rubicone, along the ancient Via Emilia of Roman origin.
It has a covered area of 3.300 sqm, an office area of 850 sqm spread over three floors, 3.000 sqm of laboratories and cold rooms, 2.230 sqm of drainage surfaces, 10.000 sqm of green surfaces and a 500 mc overflow reservoir.
The directional head consists of a metal frame covered with a high-performance wall. The laboratory and the cells are composed of a prefabricated structure with a laminated wood roof with a single span of 37 mt, covered in thermopanels with a 150 KW photovoltaic system.
This building combines internal functionality with a clean and recognizable image on the outside, produces almost more energy than it consumes, heats up in the winter months and stays cool in the summer, producing significant economic savings and reduced consumption of environmental resources.
