About the project
Evoking the memory of Bali in the past, Resound is present in the midst of the romantic atmosphere of Ubud, creating private spaces in artistic bamboo cladding. The Resound by Rescape Ubud is a glamping (glamorous camping), a luxury inn with a camping concept but with facilities like a hotel.
The architecture is inspired by Jineng, Balinese traditional rice barn which symbolizes the prosperity and social status of ancient people. The architect designed it by keep the old spirit to revive memories of Ubud in the past, within a contemporary touch.
The Resound is divided over two floors. The ground floor features an open plan living area with a simple pantry overlooking the tropical Balinese gardens, tropical forest ambience on semi-outdoor bathroom, and access to the plunge pool. On the top floor there is a master bedroom and a hanging net with direct views of the rice fields. Just lying on to enjoy the beautiful nature and local wisdom of Ubud through creative design of Resound.

Bamboo architecture consultant in Bali, Indonesia. We focus on bamboo architecture design, bamboo product design and bamboo interior design. We have a lot of experiences in bamboo architecture design and construction in Indonesia and overseas, like in Malaysia, China, Thailand and India. Most of our projects are bamboo restaurants, beach clubs, wedding chapel, villas, glampings and boutique resorts.
