About the project
It is a small building in the heart of Cancun that includes eight family apartments with three bedrooms each, common areas on the roof tops and a swimming pool as the center of the complex. The design includes facades that evoke tropical environments with light and discreet modernity hues, predominant natural finishes and transparencies that invite natural light. Mixed energy systems, photovoltaic cells and solar heaters with the intention of reducing the impact of consumption. a project carried out with love for a very special client.

Renato Medina Hernández is an architect from universidad Autónoma de Yucatán (2011), founder of Manglo ArqS (2011). Passionate about tropical design, applying techniques and materials typical of the Mayan region and focusing efforts on the idea that architecture should be for everyone in order to achieve happiness.
