About the project
Human beings have five basic senses: Touch, Sight, Hearing, Smell, Taste. We use our senses to feel and connect ourselves to the surroundings. An art gallery is not only a space for people to look at paintings, it allows people to feel, then imagine and create their own expression, in comparison of the artists.
«The Sense Gallery» provides spaces for five installations that are created by the inspirations from original paintings. Visitors are welcomed to feel the installations by touching it directly, looking at it, hearing sounds in the space or smelling the smell generated by installations. It aims to provide chances for people to experience inside art, but not just watching it.
Every design starts with a blank sheet of paper, which allowing people to imagine and create things without limitation. Apart from five senses, «The Sense Gallery» is a WHITE gallery too, that most of the spaces are painted in white so that people can imagine and create anything on their own free will.
