About the project
Shepherd’s Chapel was conceived as a space for meeting, contemplation and prayer for the people of the farming community. It is made up of a wavy gabled roof, similar to sections of «Hay Bale» stacked vertically side by side. The dilations between each undulation, achieves a visual continuity with the landscape.
The chapel is located in one of the highest and most central points of the site, becoming a point of reference. It is deliberately open, available to the entire community.
The Interior-Exterior relationship is degraded by generating a wide access that is compacted until reaching the focal point, the altar.
