About the project
The site affected by the intervention concerns a part of the small port of Cala Paura and a part of the coastal area of ​​Cala Grottone located in Polignano a Mare (Puglia). This is a peripheral urban area characterized by a strong symbolic, landscape and naturalistic value. The area is about 1 km away from the town center, connected directly by the Lungomare Domenico Modugno. The project for the landscape requalification of the coastal areas consists in the construction of public infrastructures for the use of marine and coastal areas. At the same time, the project contributes to the promotion of knowledge of the territory, the environment and biodiversity through slow and sustainable forms of use. Works are planned for the creation of a pedestrian path for the connection of the docks of the small port of Cala Paura with the area of ​​Cala Grottone; to accommodation of the existing driveway (parking) area and the construction of wooden platforms, all according to criteria that contrib

Architect Paolo Pellegrini.
After graduating in Architecture from the Polytechnic of Bari, founded his own practice studio in Puglia working for private clients and public administration, which is the result of an on-going dialogue between the clients, the location and its culture.
