About the project
The Scythian Naples is a cultural heritage site with ruins of the Scythian capital that dates back to the 3 century AD.
The author suggests a design concept for an academic archaeology center in Simferopol that will also be a tourist attraction. The center will comprise a multifunctional public complex, a city park with the Salgir embankment (today housing an abandoned plant), and a protection area of the Petrovskiye Rocks plateau that houses the Scythian Naples.
The multifunctional public complex that is the centerpiece of this project is designed with a museum, an exhibition, a business, an educational, a research and an administrative blocks. The exhibition will start along the serpentine road leading to the building.
