Best Architectural Design for Museum
About the project
Ordered by the Jewish community in Sochi, this multifunctional center will comprise a synagogue, a youth study center, a child development center, a business center, a kosher restaurant, a charity center, and History of the Holocaust Museum.
A glass cube – a symbol of the modern Israel – will be embraced by a stone arcade, representing Israel’s centuries-old history.
A vehicle-free recreation site will be arranged across the main entrance. Because of the local terrain, the building is designed on a stylobate, which will house a parking zone. The facility will become a new landmark both of the district and the city.
