About the project
Bird Migration is a phenomenon that the world has to conserve concurrently. In the Westworld, the migratory bird may live free and unbothered, but in the developing country, they face different fates, being hunted, smuggled, even exterminated is a common occurrence. Indonesia is one strategic tropical archipelago which is ideal for migratory birds to settle while winter strikes the northern hemisphere. Despite the ideal geographical condition, Indonesia also contributes on poisoning migratory birds by becoming the second-largest country polluting the ocean. It means threatening 80% of the world pollinator.
The idea of The Exodus is to move the bird to the conservation areas to protect and create a new concept of open bird sanctuary for migratory bird, this idea also framing the nature to become the focal point of the art of architecture. Thus humans are able to learn and be entertained by natural phenomenon.
