About the project
On a steeply sloping terrain on the banks of the Uruguay River, Niebla's house integrates into the landscape through the simple gesture of two parallel blades fitting into the topography. Apparent concrete, local stones, wood; natural materials that together with the pure forms honor the traditions of Brazilian architecture.

Applicant and author of the project
Luciano Lerner Basso, son and grandson of civil engineers, graduated in Architecture from PUC-RS; and obtained a Master's degree in architectural design from Mackenzie.
Winner of the Opera Prima Award; selected to represent Brazil in the international stage of the Oscar Niemeyer Award; awarded at the Saint Gobain Award; winner of the House of the Year award at the Brazilian Institute of Architects RS/SC.
