About the project
Riverside Villa is located in Vancouver, Canada. The design process of the project sought to create a connection between the house and nature, so as far as possible the building should not create any obstacle between the forest and the lake. In addition, an attempt was made to create a harmony between the forest and the lake.
For this reason, the building was designed to maintain the visual connection between the forest and the lake through the use of glass in the north and south facades of the project to create more transparency.
The overall shape of the building is inspired by the water waves of the lake to maintain a greater connection with nature.
To avoid cutting trees, the project is located on a platform on the lake. Residents can also enjoy the unique view of the forest and the lake at the same time.
