Project
Beautification of the shoreline in Yekateringofsky Park
Category
Best Project of Public Space by Student
About the project
Thanks to beautification of this area, the park goers will get access to water and new functional zones. The route developed by the student connects two sections of the park, separated by the street. The facilities to be built from scratch are a gothic-style arbor, a watching tower, a yoga pavilion, and a summer cinema.
By the way, the arbor is a reference to the Lion Pavilion that was built here in 1824 under the project by Auguste Montferrand.
Overall, the main objective of the project is to make the park more attractive and safe.
