About the project
Estajma Haus is an innovative and environmentally sensitive villa in Dubai, UAE. The natural palette of materiality and responsible xeriscape landscaping is crafted around a dual courtyard that carefully divides the public and private spaces of the home. Overall, the spaces were designed around a cozy and relaxed experience with artistic walls strategically located to provide variations of light and shadow. The linear roof slabs were designed to look as though they are effortlessly floating above the pure stone massing volumes below, giving the single floor villa a sophisticated and prominent street presence.
