About the project
The guiding idea of the architectural object is to capture the beginnings of the district of Villa El Salvador. In the first invasions, this district was a desert and it is there that a starting point was taken to translate the shape of the architectural object taking as reference the silhouettes of the dunes, when the first settlers began to invade they managed to build their houses with straw mats, this is how these mats were interpreted with the shape of the surrounding structure.
The purpose of this public library is to contribute and solve a need to promote education in the sector, this will help improve society and enhance the skills of the population, this project seeks to contribute to the objectives of sustainable development, putting emphasis on points, such as: quality education, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, industry, innovation and infrastructure and climate action.
