About the project
This immersive installation was opened at Lenfilm in April 2022. Its area reaches 1500 m2 and embraces 15 episodes, united with a single walkway and an audio performance. Full size buildings, dummy machines, and character figures are installed within Pavilion 5. The interiors are complemented with handmade paintings. The installation takes the visitors back to the past, tells them about the history of movie and newsreel making during the war. There are no displays here – history is at your finger tips.
