About the project
The citizens wanted to have more green grounds and a skate park, and this project was the answer to their need. In 2019, the boiler house of 8,000 m2 was passed to the citizens, and first murals were painted on its walls. Today, the square garden comprises several features — a site for extreme sports, a city garden, as well as an education and art center.
The basic concept of the project is bringing nature back to the city. Some of the plants for the garden were found by the ethnic and botanic expedition in 2020 over the hills at the outskirts of Almetyevsk. The gas pipes have become benches, lamp posts, garbage bins, and signs.
