Roman Kovrikov, PhD in Cultural Studies, Acting General Director of The Peterhof State Museum-Reserve, was born in Leningrad on August 9, 1976.
1999 — graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of St. Petersburg State University with a degree in Journalism.
2013 — completed advanced training courses at Moscow State University under the program «Applied Cultural Studies: Entrepreneurship in Culture».
2018 — graduated from the UNESCO Chair of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration in the field «Management in the field of culture, education and science».
2021 — defended his PhD thesis «Innovative forms of work with visitors in museum reserves».
2000—2009 — worked in Tsarskoye Selo amber workshops.
2010 — started working at The Peterhof State Museum-Reserve as the Head of the reception and service of visitors.
2014—2022 — Deputy General Director for cultural and educational work at The Peterhof State Museum-Reserve
Since March 2022, appointed Acting General Director of The Peterhof State Museum-Reserve, General Director since December 2023.
Roman Kovrikov participates actively in seminars and conferences for managers in the field of culture and art. Research interests: museum studies, visitor studies, culture studies, management in the field of culture and art.
