The Golden Trezzini Awards, named after Domenico Trezzini, the first architect of St. Petersburg, feature a comprehensive system of prizes and certificates. This guide outlines the awards structure for participants, experts, media, and phaleristics enthusiasts. The information below applies to the 2024 edition of the Golden Trezzini Awards.
General Notes
- Participants whose projects are rejected during submission due to non-compliance with Award Regulations are ineligible for certificates. For example, in 2024, out of 1,318 projects submitted from 55 countries, only 865 achieved nominee status and advanced to the first voting stage.
- Physical certificates are awarded exclusively to winners at the awards ceremony. Exceptions are evaluated individually by the Organizing Committee.
- Winners unable to attend the ceremony can receive electronic certificates (print-ready PDF files) by requesting them at [email protected].
- Electronic certificate preparation requires up to 14 business days from request date.
- Electronic certificate requests are accepted starting the first business day after the awards ceremony.
Certificate Categories
Nominee Certificates
- Awarded to all nominees who scored less than 5 points (out of 10) in the first round of voting (hereinafter referred to as those who have not made it to the finalist or winner categories).
Bronze Certificates
- 5-6 points.
Silver Certificates
- 6-7 points.
Gold Certificates
- 7-8 points.
Platinum Certificates
- 8+ points.
Special Mention Certificates
- Awarded to nominees highlighted by Jury experts.
Honourable Mention Certificates
- Awarded to nominees highlighted by International Council experts.
Finalist Certificates
- Awarded to finalists from the first voting stage.
Winner Awards
Main Categories
- Winners receive both Golden Trezzini statuettes and certificates. Exception: Special Awards.
People's Choice Award (Premio del Pubblico)
- Category winners receive winner certificates.
- Overall winner (highest votes across all categories) receives both statuette and certificate.
SPECIAL AWARDS
Best Implemented Project of a Façade or Interior Using Ceramics
- Winner receives the Ceramic Trezzini statuette and certificate.
Lazar Khidekel Prize
- Winner receives Lazar Khidekel Society prize and certificate
Distinguished Recognition
- Awarded in exceptional cases for outstanding contributions to the «Architecture as Art» concept.
- Includes Golden Trezzini statuette and certificate.

- Additional special categories may be designated by the Organizing Committee.

- Absent winners receive prizes by mail.
