About the project
The design site is located in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, in Gubkinsky Town.
The former private hangar-like building was redesigned and extended to become a junior art facility. The authors wanted its architecture to be welcoming and inviting. That was why they designed a new volume at the entrance – a green house with amphitheater-like steps, where public events can be arranged in warm seasons. For the adjoining park, the open-site art object was designed.
The interior premises were reconsidered in compliance with the new purpose, and the unique visual style was invented for the entire site.
