About the project
The action takes place in a village where the characters live. During the day, events of great intensity occur, where each character has his or her own complex life and fate on the stage. Small stories of the Chulimsk residents that happened the summer before lead the viewers to the deep and sophisticated moral problems of today.
To show the atmosphere of a Siberian village, the producers used about three dozen real pine trees, contrasting with the everyday environment.
