Afterward, the International Jury, chaired by Mikhail Piotrovsky, President of the Worldwide St Petersburg Club and General Director of the State Hermitage Museum, will choose the winners from the list of finalists. The award ceremony will take place on November 15 at the Hermitage Theater, followed by a closed reception for the laureates in the ballroom of the Corinthia St. Petersburg Hotel.

In its seventh season, the award featured 18 main categories covering all aspects of architecture as an art, including building and interior design, exhibition projects, set design, sculpture, and architectural ceramics. Two categories were reserved for students.

The awards do not offer monetary prizes. The primary award in most categories is a gilded statuette of Domenico Trezzini.

The International Golden Trezzini Awards recognize outstanding contributions to architecture as art. Named after Domenico Trezzini (1670–1734), the architect behind the Peter and Paul Cathedral and other masterpieces of Petrine Baroque, the awards have been presented annually since 2018. The award's motto, “Architecture as Art”, reflects its mission to museumify remarkable projects in architecture, design, and restoration. The works of the laureates, selected by over 200 experts from 33 countries, are included in the state museum fund and exhibited at the “Architecture as Art” exhibition in the Peter and Paul Fortress. This esteemed recognition elevates the winning projects to a status of historical and cultural significance, ensuring their preservation for future generations.

Applications for the 8th International Golden Trezzini Awards will open in February 2025.
