The Consulate General of Italy announced the Golden Trezzini Awards

News of the Awards

Information on the IV International Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design has been released on the official website of the Italian diplomatic mission in St. Petersburg.

The Consulate General of Italy in St. Petersburg informed about the International Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design being held in 2021. The competition was announced in both Russian and Italian.

The Golden Trezzini Organizing Committee is highly grateful to the Italian diplomatic mission in St. Petersburg for the spread of information about the competition. Since 2020, when the Golden Trezzini Awards became international, they cannot be imagined without the participation of Italian nominees and projects. Last year, there were 8 of them, and in 2021, 9 projects implemented or intended for implementation in Italy, has already been approved for participation. Most of them — in the « Best Implemented Apartment / Private House Interior Design Project» category.

The Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design are named after Domenico Trezzini (1670—1734), Russian architect of Swiss origin, the first architect of St. Petersburg. The main objective of the Awards is turning the most artistically valuable architectural, design, restoration, scenography, and exhibition projects into museum objects. The Honorary Chairman of the International Council for the Golden Trezzini Awards is Mikhail Piotrovsky, President of the World Club of St. Petersburgers and General Director of the State Hermitage.

2021 Golden Trezzini Awards winners will be awarded in November during the Gala-Night at the Mikhailovsky Theatre. The best projects by competitors will be added to the collection of the Architectural Graphics Fund at the Museum of St. Petersburg History and take part in an annual exhibition at the Peter and Paul Fortress.

Entries are open till October 1 at https://www.goldtrezzini.ru/en/application2021/. Nominees from all over the world are invited. More than 170 projects from 40+ countries have been already accepted. Participation is free of charge.

The General Partner of the Awarding Ceremony is the Mikhailovsky Theatre. The General Museum Partner is the State Museum of St. Petersburg History. The Strategic museum partner is the State Russian Museum. The independent auditor is Borenius Attorneys Russia Ltd.
