European countries have been on lockdown for several weeks due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus. While millions of people had to suspend work, many intellectuals, to which members of the Golden Trezzini Jury belong, can continue working remotely. Elsa Garavaglia, professor at Politecnico di Milano and a member of the Golden Trezzini Jury since 2019, has told us about her quarantine everyday life.
“Fortunately, my family and I are fine”, Ms. Garavaglia says, “I am working from home, in a little town near Milan, and my life is cadenced by a short morning walk with difficulty even from home. In fact, research and teaching are continuing quite well even remotely”.

“Teaching in streaming is for all of us a novelty faced with some difficulties but with a lot of enthusiasm both by us, teachers, and by our students”, Golden Trezzini Jury member continues.
